  16:43:00 by admin, Categories: MYSQL SERVER

- execute command follow

#  nmap localhost    > you must see   3306/tcp open  mysql   in other hand you may resolv so,

edit file    vim /etc/mysql/my.cnf    and down to line where should be write

bind-address            = 0.0.0.0   --> change to form correct

# just now, write the follow commands enter to the console mysql  and type

GRANTALL PRIVILEGES ON*.*TO'root'@'%'; FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

it meaning user root  can access without password from remote way

GRANTALL PRIVILEGES ON*.*TO'root'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY'password';

FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

now, you would need password in order to access

check the port on which mysql is running on the server

netstat -lnp | grep mysql

 service iptables status

mysql -u fooUser -p -h 44.55.66.77 (testing)

 On Centos 7  a trick is

iptables -F FORWARD

iptables -F INPUT

because by default  is new tool firewalld on centos 7
